The next edition of the event, number 26 and the first managed by The Music Republic, “makes a national and international commitment, reinforcing its willingness to welcome an audience concerned by diverse musical cultures”, as reported by the organization in a release, states that “from the active listening of its followers and the exhaustive work of its programming team, a first and very powerful development will come into existence”.
The first confirmations for the event – “which still has many surprises to reveal”, as they have specified – “consolidate the strong national and international commitment of FIB, reinforcing its willingness to welcome an audience concerned by the different musical cultures”.
Established artists of global reach (Khalid, Vampire Weekend, Armen Van Buuren, The Kooks, Rita Ora, Martin Garrix, Crystal Fighters, The Libertines, Don Diablo, Foals, The Lumineers, Steve Aoki, Kaiser Chiefs, The Hives or Digitalism), the most relevant national groups at the moment (Manel, León Benavente, La Habitación Roja, Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, Hinds, Los Planetas + Niño de Elche present Fuerza Nueva, Sidonie or Viva Suecia) and upcoming groups (Caring or Meduza) contained in “a wide range of styles”.
The festival has also been advancing part of the billboard every other day. Thus, on Thursday, July 16, Khalid, Armen Van Buuren, The Kooks, Basement Jaxx dj siete, Manel and Leon Benavente will be on stage.
The next day it will be the turn of Vampire Weekend, Martin Garrix, Rita Ora, Crystal Fighters, Lil Pump, Example, Circa Waves, La Habitación Roja, Triángulo de Amor Bizarro and Hinds.
The list for Saturday, July 18 is as follows: The Libertines, Don Diablo, Fuerza Nueva (Los Planetas + Niño de Elche), Meduza, Fuel Fandango and Elyella. Finally, Foals, The Lumineers, Steve Aoki, Kaiser Chiefs, The Hives, Digitalism Live, Sidonie, Viva Suecia and Cariño make up the menu for Sunday.
In the same venue of previous years, the festival undertakes in its horizon a “mean to open its arms to the Spanish public without abandoning its tourist and international vocation”.
Tickets will be available for sale from 49 euros + costs on November 28 at 18.00 on the official website www.fiberfib.com. If you would like to access the campsites, you will have to purchase a separate ticket for 25 euros + costs (both Campfest and Villacamp).
