Fallas, the typical sculptures in Valencia which are burnt during the month of March, have been selected to be part of the list of finalists to be considered a intangible cultural heritage. The final decision will be known from the 28th of November to the 2nd of December.

Fallas had the needed 5 needed requirements to be part of this list, such as its compatibility with the human rights, the recruitment of any social group, without taking into account the age, social class, profession or ideologies and women are also able to participate in the organization and development of the different fallas.

This festivity (Fallas) made possible that institutions like the city council and universities also participate in this project and it has always been a good way to make people creative and welcome spring with this amazing sculptures.
