In this edition will participate 200 establishments of the commercial zone of the city center
The shopping area of the center of Valencia will host on Thursday 1 June the XI edition of the Shopening Night, an initiative that generates an economic impact of 1 million euros and involving more than 200 establishments that from 20 hours to the Midnight open your doors to share experiences with citizens.
In addition, there will be more than 30 musical performances organized in the streets, which also circulate the bus with a charanga and the organization expects the participation of about 80,000 people. The Councilor delegate of Commerce, Carlos Galiana, presented “this meeting between the merchants and the citizens, that during that night you can know better, live new experiences and enjoy them with a playful atmosphere.” According to his words, “this is an opportunity to invest in Valencia and support the small entrepreneur who, every morning open their trade, from life to the city.”
Galiana has presented this edition, organized by Grecotex, the Textile Trade Guild of Valencia, with the support of the City Council, accompanied by the Director of Negotiation and Marketing of Caixa Popular, José María Company. As a spokesperson for this entity, which sponsors and participates in the Shopening Night as one more trade, has explained “that the initiative, as in previous editions, claims the pleasure of shopping.”
And to this aim, “to encourage customers and clients, there have been organized musical performances, tastings of local products, the actions of bloggers, instagrammers and photographers who will dynamize the streets.” The organization expects the participation of about 70,000 / 80,000 people, and an economic impact of one million euros.
