El Campello. A Bite of Tradition.

From June 1st to 10th, 2018, the traditional cuisine will be the main theme in El Campello, with the III Mostra de Cuina Tradicional (third Traditional Food Cooking Show), “A mosset de tradició” (A Bite into Tradition).

El Campello is a town of incredible seafaring flavour.  Its 23 km of coastline, an exceptional weather, its magnificent facilities and infrastructures, and the hospitality of its people, offer the possibility of enjoying this enclave all year round.

This fishing tradition so rooted in the people of El Campello, along with the garden produce, are apparent in its rich and varied cuisine. Their restaurants have recovered many of the recipes of our ancestors, recovering dishes such as the Caldero Campellero (Campello’s fish stew), fideuà (a typical seafood dish with noodles instead of rice), as well as rice dishes and stews from our elders.

This town celebrates one of the great gastronomic challenges: the Traditional Cooking Show of El Campello, which celebrates its third edition. This event coincides with the return of the boats from Larache to El Campello.

From June 1st to 10th, thirteen El Campello restaurants will delight the most demanding palates with their menus that have traditional Campellan gastronomy as the protagonist. Each menu includes appetizers, main course, dessert and drinks, and its price ranges between €25 and €35.
